Tenor Sax

Tenor Sax
How hard is it to switch from clarinet to tenor sax?

I’m really good at clarinet and I want to play tenor sax to get into jazz band. What do you think? Thanks.

It’s not that hard. Yes, there will be some challenges, but fingerings are very close. Tenor sax fingerings are like the upper register of the clarinet. The reed and mouthpiece are bigger, so you will have to adjust your embouchure and use less pressure on the reed. Go for it!
